Mrs. Ina Mae Brown, 86, died Thursday, July 26, 2007, at her home in Hurley, Miss. She was born May 23, 1921, in Jackson County where she had resided all her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Kreole Avenue Baptist Church. Mrs. Brown was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, and will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyman and Mattie Cunningham; husband, Oscar L. Brown; brothers, Tony, Calvin, Buck Cunningham and sister, Myrtle Lane Cunningham.
Survivors include, two sons, Bobby C. Brown of Moss Point, Miss.; Barry L. Brown of Hurley; two daughters, Sherry (Judson) Owens of Moss Point and Sandra (Dale) Taylor of Pascagoula, Miss.; brother, Charles (Alberta) Cunningham of Pascagoula; sister, Juanita Miller of Moss Point; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, July 30, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Grant McLain officiating. Interment will be at Robert's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Judson Owens, Steven Brentley Owens, William Bradley Owens, Michael Dale Taylor, Robert Travis Taylor, Gary Busby and Robin Thompson.
