James Rockne Curley

A former 48 year resident of Dedham passed away Monday.

He was born in Cambridge in 1931 and attended Boston Trade High School.

Following trade school he embarked on a long career as an electrician in Boston's IBEW Local 103,
following that he went on to become the Director of Engineering and Maintenance at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton.

He loved his summer getaways to Bridgeton Maine with his family.

He is survived by;
his son Michael Curley and wife Maura (Costello) of Attleboro,
Robert Curley of Middleboro,
Thomas Curley and wife Rose (Fazio) of Wilmington,
Stephen Curley of Fort Myers Florida
and daughter Laura Curley of Poway California,

and his five grandchildren Charles, Andrew, Zachary, Kaitlyn and Noah.

He is also survived by his sister Kay Condon (Curley) of Sharon, his brother Lawrence Curley and Helen of Westwood, along with many nieces and nephews.

He had spent the last few years of his retirement in Poway California.

Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham,
Interment in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
