Greer, SC - Mrs. Quillie Blackwell died Saturday, March 29, 1952 at 9:30 p.m. at Spartanburg General Hospital following three years of declining health and a serious illness of two days. Survivors included: her husband, Isom David Blackwell; one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Duncan; three sons, Haze J. Luther D. and Louie R. Blackwell; one sister, Mrs. Ann Campbell; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was 72 years of age at her demise and interment was in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
