ANGWIN - Lois Field Aaen, 86, died Sunday at the Pine Breeze Nursing Home after a brief illness.

Mrs. Aaen was born in Fort Buford, N.D. and was educated in Williston, N.D. In 1908 she married Bernard Aaen in Williston. Mr. Aaen died in 1920. She moved to Oregon in 1924 and settled in Laurelwood where she worked as a nurse.

Later she came to California and settled in Los Angeles to be near her daughter. Mrs. William (Helen) Conrad. In 1952 she went to Java with her son, Bernard. In 1964 she resided in Angwin and in 1969 traveled overseas with her son, Bernard, She resided with her daughter in Playa del Rey and returned to Angwin in June of this year.

She was a member of the Angwin Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William (Helen) Conrad of Playa del Rey; two sons, Bernard Aaen of Angwin and Morten Aaen of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Buell Field of College Place, Wash. and Clinton Field of Salem, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Anderson of Ronan, Mont. and Mrs. Irene Hamilton of Angwin; and 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
