Age 70 of Chemung, NY. She was born January 2, 1942 in Elmira, daughter of the late William and Ida (Bennett) Frisbie and passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at home. She was predeceased by her sister Lillian Stark and brothers William and Walter Frisbie. Eleanor is survived by her children Vida Finch, Tina Dyess, Wanda Lane, Alvin Ayers, Ivan Ayers, Clinton Ayers and Dawn Hoffman; 27 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Monday, October 8th from 12 to 1 pm. Her funeral service will be held at 1 pm. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Chemung Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation to help pay her final expenses.
