GARNER.––Mrs. Rebecca Willett Garner, wife of Simon P. Garner and mother of W. Scott Garner, died at her home near Hazelton, this county, on Monday evening, February 15, 1897, and was buried at the Willet [column 5] graveyard on Wednesday, Feb. 17. Rev. Lew Myers, of the sect known as the Bible Class, conducted religious services at the house and at the cemetery. Mrs. Garner was in her 70th year. Her only living daughter, Lucy Ann, married Ami Boyer, and now lives at Oakland, Shawnee Co., Kansas.
