Burial will be in the City of Levelland Cemetery under the direction of Head Family Funeral Home.
He died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, at Covenant Hospital in Levelland.
He was born Sept. 12, 1920, in Palestine. He married Vera L. Moore on Feb. 13, 1951, in Levelland. A lifelong Texan, he moved to Levelland in 1947 from Palestine. He was a service station attendant and retired from Rush Welding and Supply. She was a member of the North Side Church of Christ. He was also a U.S. Army veteran and served in Korea.
