After graduating from Rigby High School in 1957, Doris worked for American Paper and General Electric as a secretary. She married Floyd on August 27, 1960, in Elko, NV. After being a homemaker for many years, she returned to work for Mountain Bell as a secretary. She enjoyed being a member of the music club and helped behind the scenes of Miss Idaho Falls Pageant for ten years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She liked to read and cook and had a talent for fashion and decorating and enjoyed grandchildren Chelsea, Skylar, Tanner, and Keaton. Survivors beside Floyd included: children Jody L. (Eric) Peterson of Gilbert, AZ, and Ryan F. (Linda Platt) Butler of Boise; siblings Arthur G. (Elrae) Goody, Arla Goody, Judy (Gene) Moshberger, and her four grandchildren. Preceded by daughter Lisa. Funeral Services held September 27th at Wood Funeral Home.
