Estelle Deloris Cornelison entered everlasting life on May 13, 2006 at the age of 75. She was born on June 6, 1930 in Hugo to Chester and Edith Lottie (McLemore) Haislip. She married Dan M. Cornelison in Hugo on December 4, 1948. She lived in this community for the past 33 years. Estelle worked as a florist here in Hugo. Estelle was preceded in death by her husband, Dan; her parents; two brothers, Travis and Roy Haislip; and two sisters, Sylvia Minchew and Criss Lester.
She is survived by two sons, Danny Lynn Cornelison and wife Carrie of Reno, Texas, and Joel Dean Cornelison of Klondike, Texas; a daughter, Linda Deloris Jones and husband Carey of Hugo; two brothers, Willard Johnson of Hugo and Russell Johnson of Bakersfield, Calif.; one sister, Waunell Rye of Perris, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Lisa Robertson, April Makerney, David Wharton, Kacey Jones, Jason Cornelison, Carla Cornelison, Skylar Cornelison and Eric Cornelison; 10 great-grandchildren, Dustin and Jared Bailey, Austin and Tyler Wharton, Alyssa and Logan Makerney, Gabie, Zatora, and Alexis Norris and April Robertson.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 16, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services for Estelle Cornelison of Hugo will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mutt Wallace officiating. Interment will follow in Shoat Springs Cemetery.
