Mrs. Alex Alters, 62, 112 1/2 Sixth Avenue North, died in St. Mary hospital, Wednesday afternoon at 6:05.
Mrs. Alters was born in Huntsville, Illinois, February 15, 1868, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hillyer.
January 2, 1885, she was married to Alex Alters. Until coming to Quincy fourteen years ago, she had lived in Huntsville. Mrs. Alters was a member of the Huntsville Presbyterian church.
The body will be sent to Huntsville Friday for burial.
