CRESCENT - Mamie Elizabeth Hope Gordon , 79, died Aug. 11 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
The Crescent native was the widow of George Andrew Gordon Sr.and was a Baptist and a homemaker.
SURVIVORS: five sons, George A. Gordon Jr. of Faulkville, Charles Edward Gordon and Richard D. Gordon , both of Savannah, William D. Gordon of Meldrim and Cecil R. Gordon of Pinora; a daughter, Elizabeth Ivey Miller of Crescent; a brother, Rufus Winn Hope Jr. of Crescent; 17 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel, burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
