Helen D. (Irvine) Anderson, 93, wife of Alfred W. Anderson, Ash Ct., Towamencin Twp., died Friday, at Lansdale Hospital. She was a former resident of Schwenksville. Mrs. Anderson was born on June 5, 1920, in Norwalk, CT. She was the daughter of the late Lee H. and Myrtle (Dean) Irvine. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church and a former president of the Women's Civic Club of Schwenksville. In addition to her husband of 74 years, Mrs. Anderson is survived by her daughter, Carol L. Witherwax, with whom she resided; her grandson, Robert C., Jr., husband of Nicole (Gordon) Dickerson; her great-grandchildren, Haileigh, Hayden and Lydia Dickerson, and several half-brothers and sisters. A viewing will be held from 10 to 10:45 a.m., Friday, at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 311 2nd St., Schwenksville, PA 19473, with the funeral following at 11 a.m. The Rev. Daniel M. Schaefer, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Schwenksville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Arrangements are by Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., Trappe.
