Janet Jackson Allen, 67, of 325 Virginia Beach Blvd., died April 6, 1999, in Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Born in Canaseraga, N.Y., she was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and an airman first class in the U.S. Air Force. She also was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, James W. "Jim" Allen, and a daughter, Bonnie S. Allen, both of Virginia Beach; two sons James W. Jr. and Debbie Allen of Oklahoma City, Okla., Michael T. Allen of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Jackie Phillips of Munda, N.Y., Millicent Timothy of Hunt, N.Y., Jean Babcock of Anthony, Fla.; a brother, Floyd Jackson of Columbia, Tenn.; and a granddaughter Victoria Allen of Oklahoma City.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Richard J. Yates. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Ave. Chapel.
