MOORMAN - Mrs. Lucille E. Moorman, 73, 616 Fitch Road, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 1974 in Swedish-American Hospital after a brief illness. Born June 22, 1901 in Oglesby, Ill. Lived most of her life in Rockford. Married to Frank Ahles in 1919; he died in 1948; she later married Newton G. Moorman in Rockford, Feb. 13, 1954. Member of St. Edward's Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Donald Ahles, Rockford; two daughters, Mrs. Viola Williams, and Mrs. Rosemary Pinchott, both of Rockford; two stepsons, Newton Moorman, Jr., and Grant Moorman, both of Rockford; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Edna LaSalla, Mrs. Gretchen Peterson, both of Rockford, and Mrs. Kathleen Lindquist, Florida; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Urrea, and Mrs. Bernadine Rilley, both of Rockford; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Miller who died in 1949.

Services at 10 a.m. Monday in Julian-Poorman Funeral Home, 304 N. 5th St., and at 11:30 a.m. at St. Edward's Catholic church, with her grandson Father Donald Ahles, associate pastor of St. Anne's Church in Dixon, officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
