Mrs. Clift owned a day-care for 32 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and The Relief Society. She was a former member of Hope Chapter 5, Order of Eastern Star. Her hobbies were gardening, cooking and sewing.
Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl D. Clift and Pamela S. Clift, both of Lafayette; six brothers, Ralph Loft of Danville, Paul Loft, James Loft, both o Lafayette, Gerald Loft of Tipton, Raymond Loft of Emmett, ID, and Donald Loft of Dayton, IN; six sisters, Elizabeth Carlson, Miriam Dye, both of Lafayette, Dorothy Brown of Brookston, Mary Watts of New Richmond, Joy Stuckel of Louisville, KY, and Janet Anderson of Williamsport; also several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
