CYRIL W. MITTNACHT

Cyril W. Mittnacht, 55, of 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly
Friday evening while at Reedsville.
Funeral services will be at 10:15 a.m. Monday at Mittnacht Fuenral Home and at
10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Daniel Gilsdorf
will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Mittnacht was born Nov. 20, 1914, at Manitowoc, son of the late Peter and
Rose Kellner Mittnacht. He attended Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, and was
graduated from Goodman College of Embalming in Milwaukee in 1933. He had been
employed as a funeral director in Brillion for several years prior to entering
the armed services. He returned to Manitowoc and established the Mittnacht Funeral
Home in 1947. He married Louise Younglove in 1950, at Berlin, Wis.
Survivors include his wife; two sons (Survivors omitted for privacy.) and two
brothers, Daniel of Chilton and Paul of Madison.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where a Rosary will be
recited at 4 pm. by the Serra Club. A memorial service will be conducted by the
Manitowoc Elks Lodge No. 687 at 7 p.m. and a wake service will be at 8 p.m. by
the Holy Name Society and Knights of Columbus, with the Rev. James Craanen
officiating.
