Mrs. Jefferson Colvin
[Mrs. Louisa ("Pern") Colvin],
at her home in Shelby, Mich.
Mrs. Colvin passed her 90th birthday
on November 21.
She was the daughter of
Rev. W. R. McCoy, who was the
first settler in Buchanan, [MI].
Her husband was a half brother of
the late Sam'l Colvin of Berrien
Springs, and the family resided
here [in Berrien Springs, MI] for
some years previous to their
removal to Shelby, [MI]
