Mrs. Jim Bright passed away at her home south of town Monday morning. About three years ago she had a stroke of paralysis from which she did not recover. On Sunday, August 5 she suffered a second stroke and died the following day. She leaves a husband, two daughters, two sons, and a step-son. The funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. Shoemaker at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Cockrum cemetery.
