Eleanor Devine McMahon of East Norwalk, wife of the late Attorney William Henry McMahon, III, passed away peacefully in her home on January 22, 2010. Survivors include four sons, William Henry McMahon, IV of Framingham, Mass., Eugene James McMahon, M.D. of Barrington, R.I., Paul Burke McMahon of Acton, Mass. and Kevin Devine McMahon of Southport; eight grandchildren; brother, William J. Devine of East Norwalk; three sisters, Mrs. James C. (Claire) Driscoll, Jr. of Southbury, Mrs. Frank A. (Alice) Mackinson, Jr. of Bound Brook, N.J. and Ms. Elaine D. Mullen of Norwalk; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Eugene J. Devine, Jr. The Funeral Mass will be on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Richards Avenue, Norwalk. The wake is Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. in Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, East Norwalk, CT 06855 or Carroll Center for the Blind, 770 Centre Street, Newton, MA 02458.
