Daughter of James H. and Marie (Sohn) Moore, she married Norman Beckman in Appleton, Wisconsin on July 12, 1952.
She received her bachelor of science degree from Ohio State University and masters degree in botany from the University of Wisconsin. Mrs. Beckman was an active and faithful member of the Freedom Moravian Church. She was lovingly devoted to her family and generously shared her talents and education through volunteer work.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James H. Moore Jr.
