MORGAN Corinne Tanner Morgan, 90, of Agricola, MS, died Thursday, January 17, 2013, in Hurley, MS. She was born January 9, 1923, in Movella, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Burlin Gaines Tanner and Lily Pearl McCullough Tanner. Corinne graduated from Agricola High School in 1939, and she married James Parnell Morgan in 1942. She attended nursing school at Spring Hill College, and she was employed as a nurse at George County Hospital. Corinne was also a member of Ward-Pineview Missionary Baptist Church. Her most important accomplishment, however, was her dedication as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her husband, James Parnell Morgan; her sister, Audrey Mae Morgan; her brothers, Douglas Tanner and Winfred Tanner; her grandson, Stevie Smith; and her great-grandson, Zachary Bounds. She is survived by her sister, Helen Sue (William) Hamilton; three daughters; Betty (Bill) Brindza, Janey (Royce) Cumbest, and Winifred Smith; ten grandchildren, Daniel (Kayla) Morgan, Cory (Bryant) Cox, Emily Brindza, Jamey (John) Wachsman, Gray (Niece) Cumbest, Stephanie (Dennis) Pierce, Maria (Scott) Clanton, Johnny (Ginger) Smith, Tara (Mark) Bufkin, and Hilary Howell; fourteen great-grandchildren, Jade Bounds, Alex (Justin) Herrington, Brittney Clanton, Bryce Clanton, Cooper Cox, Dexter Cox, Hayden Johnson, Olivia Wachsman, Jack Wachsman, Auston Bufkin, Lucas Bufkin, Avery Bufkin, Aerial Grace Smith, and Skyler Smith; and three great-great-grandchildren, Carlie Herrington, Jerron Herrington, and Natalie Herrington; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday January 19, 2013 from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Sigler Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00pm from the Sigler Funeral Home Chapel.
