ELGIN -- A family graveside burial for Betty J. Blunt will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Orion Center Cemetery in Pleasant Grove.
Mrs. Blunt, 80, of Elgin, died Sunday (May 13, 2007) at her home, where she had lived the last 20 years.
Betty Jean Mundell was born Nov. 23, 1926, in rural Chatfield, and graduated from Chatfield High School. She lived in Las Vegas and in Plattsmouth, Neb., where she worked for Western Electric. She enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Survivors include two brothers, Jon (Kathy) Mundell of Viola and Edward Mundell of Rochester; and a sister, Mary Damm of Cedaredge, Colo. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; and a brother.
Riley Funeral Home of Chatfield is in charge of arrangements.
