Helen Neeley Ables, 64, of 133 Travis Circle, Toney, AL, died Sunday, October 10, 1999, at her home. Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 12, at 2 p.m. at Gallant Funeral Home Chapel in Hazel Green with Rev. Lon Ostrzycki and Rev. Jerry Hovis officiating. Burial was in the Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, AL with Gallant Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Ables was a housewife and a member of Carter's Grove Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Pearl Kuhn Neeley of Taft, TN. Survivors include her husband, Flenoy Ables; two daughters, Cheryl Geske of Toney, Carol Sims of Ardmore; two sons, Ronald and Bobby Ables of Toney; five sisters, Margie Morris of Toney, Robbie Toone and Bettie Kollie of Hazel Green, Dorothy Mullins and Janell Heard of Ardmore; two brothers, William Neeley and Eugene Neeley of Nashville, TN; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
