The funeral for Dorothy Viola Adams, 63, of Rt. 3, Hickory, who died Monday, will be conducted by Chaplain Bill Denton at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hickory Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
Born Feb. 22, 1923 in Catawba County, she was a daughter of Guy Reinhardt and Sudie Bollinger Reinhardt.
She was employed by Carolina Associated Mills in Newton and was a member of Fairgrove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Gil E. Adams; a daughter, Wanda English of Hickory; a sister, Colleen Duncan of Hickory; and a granddaughter, Patricia Bowman of Newton.
