Native Henry Countian Margaret Jane Allsbrooks, 67, of Erin died Thursday, Oct. 31, 1996, at Memorial Hospital in Clarksville. A brother, Joe W. Ridgway Jr., lives in Henry.

Her funeral was at 1 p.m. Sunday at Nave Funeral Home in Erin with the Rev. Ervin Gilliam officiating. A graveside service was conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Paris. Visitation was Saturday and Sunday.

Pallbearers were Billy Weaver, Mark McAskill, David Harris, Robert Spurgeon, Boyd Mathis and Richard Courtney.

Born June 16, 1929, she was a daughter of Joseph W. Ridgway Sr. and Myrtle Clendenin Ridgway, both deceased. She was the widow of John Rupert Allsbrooks. A member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Tennessee Ridge, she was a retired nurse's aide for Royal Care Nursing Home in Erin


She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Ann Lewis and Patricia Courtney, both of Erin, and Pam McCabe of Alexandria, La.; three sons, Randy Lewis of Tennessee Ridge, Scott Lewis of Dickson and Mitch Lewis of Erin; one stepson, Jimmy Allsbrooks of McDonough, Ga.; one sister, Gail Workman of Mount Juliet 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren: four stepgrandchildren; and four great-stepgrandchildren.
