Mrs. Nettie Jane Bower, 93, died this morning at 1:45 a.m. in the Hospitality Nursing Home.
Mrs. Bower was born Nov. 3, 1888, in Decatur County, the daughter of Henry and Mary Ann Myers Robbins. She was married July 3, 1909, to Frank Bower, and he preceded her in death Oct. 26, 1953. She was a housewife.
She is survived by one son, John Bower, Greensburg; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Russell Bower who died in 1970; two sisters, Dorothy and Hettie, and two brothers who died in infancy.
The services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Charles Baxter officiating, and with burial in the Burke Chapel south of Greensburg. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday.
