Funeral for Shirley Faye Brewer, 70, of Moulton will be Sunday, February 28, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Marlow and Bro. Paul Mishue officiating.
Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brewer, who died Thursday, February 25, 2010, at Helen Keller Hospital, was born April 26, 1939, in Lawrence County to Leon Sanderson and Susie Parker Sanderson. She worked as a seamstress for Lawrence Corporation. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, R.L. Brewer; one brother, Claudie Sanderson; and sister, Velma Reeves.
Survivors include her husband, James "Bud" Price Brewer; three sons, James "Buddy" Edward Brewer (Joan), John Henry Brewer and Jerry Lynn Brewer (Dean), all of Moulton; two daughters, Connie Latham (Darrell) of Town Creek and Carolyn Brewer (Chris) of Moulton; two sisters, Marie Brewer and Eula Mae Cox, both of Moulton; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Mickey Harville, James Latham, Jason Glasco, Scott Cox, Donny Early and Tony Early.
Honorary pallbearer will be Lance Brewer.
