Mary Clark was the daughter of Caleb & Anna (nee: Barnum) Sheldon III, she met and married Seeley 18 September 1833 in Milford Connecticut. Together the reared 11 children (all born in Milford) then moved to Illinois and made roots in the Bureau County area till they passed. Mary is buried next to her husband, son, and grandchildren.
