Carol P. Fogle, 83, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015, at ComfortCare Home of Ottawa.
Cremation is planned with private family services to be held at a later date.
Carol was born Wednesday, December 14, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Nels Peter and Joan Pearl (Schnier) Sjogren.
She grew up in Minnesota moving in the 1950’s to Kansas.
Carol attended Wright High School in Wright, Minnesota.
Carol was united in marriage with Frank Daniel “Dan” Fogle, Jr. May 27, 1961, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her three children, Brent Fogle and wife Georgia of Olathe, Kansas, Pam Horsch and husband J.D. of Ottawa, Kansas and Danni Fogle and husband Art Clack of Mitchell, Nebraska; five siblings, Elaine Malone and husband Randy of Springhill, Florida, Janice Moses and husband Bruce of Vassar, Kansas, Karen Towe and husband Richard of Ottawa, Kansas, Leanne Smith of Littleton, Colorado, and Donald Sjogren and wife Judy of Wright, Minnesota; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nels and Joan Sjogren; sister, Nancy Sjogren; and brother, Robert Sjogren.
Carol was a devoted homemaker. She was employed three years at Fogle Quarry and two years at Kay Truit Fashions in Overland Park, Kansas.
Carol enjoyed traveling, reading and walking. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and truly enjoyed her pets.
