Mayme F. Glover, 93, of Lincoln Street, Wayland died Wednesday (Oct. 12, 1988) in Wellsville Highland Nursing Home following a long illness.
Born June 1, 1895, in Wayland, she was a daughter of Fred and Malvina Hill Totten. A lifelong resident of Wayland, she was a member of the United Methodist Church of Wayland, a past matron and member of the Wayland Order of the Eastern Star Lodge 499, and a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 402 in Wayland.
Surviving are a son, Robert of Dansville; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a sister, Beatrice Drum of Wayland; a nephew.
A funeral and committal service was conducted Friday morning in the Walter E. Baird and Sons Funeral Home of Wayland with the Rev. Richard Ives officiating. Burial was in Village Cemetery, Wayland.
