Mrs. Mary Trimble Burton, 38 years old, the wife of Mr. Ethus Burton, died at her home at Hislope September 15. Funeral services were conducted the following day at Oak Grove. Rev. Crawford Trimble officiating. Interment was in the cemetery there. She was a devout Christian woman, beloved by all who knew her. Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, Geneva, Bernice and Gordon; three sisters, Miss Amy Trimble, who made her home with Mrs. Burton, Mrs. Maud Curry of Cerro Gordo, Illinois, and Mrs. Beatrice Handly of Bradley, Illinois, and two half-brothers, Howard Halcomb of Norwood, and Mr. Boyd Halcomb of Detroit, Michigan. They have the sympathy of many friends.
