Neva Elizabeth Walcott Black, age 75, of Demossville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, July 9 of a heart attack in Booth Memorial Hospital in Florence, Kentucky.
She was a native of Wayne County and the oldest daughter of the late Perry and Cora Wray Walcott.
She was a member of Unity Baptist Church, Demossville and for the last two years had lived with her son, Phillip of Demossville.
Her husband, Sam Sr., passed away in 1975 and a son, Sam Jr., passed away in 1985.
Other survivors include three sisters, Ina Sisk, Betty Lou Koger and Ruby P. Gross; four brothers, William M., Ovis O., Hulen D. and Hubert Walcott; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held July 12 with burial in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, Kentucky.
