Hulda Gibson, 83, died Monday, January 1, in Findlay, Ohio. Mrs. Gibson was born March 1, 1906, in Johnson County, the daughter of Issiah Jackson and Sara Liz Saylor. She was a member of Green Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gibson, Jr., in 1968. Surviving are one son, Smith Helton of Sidney, Indiana; five daughters, Ella Collins of Fostoria, Ohio; Bethel Yates of Warsaw, Indiana; Marlene Yates of Fremont, Ohio; Maggie Good of Silverlake, Indiana, and Irene Fairchild of Toledo, Ohio; one brother, Eddie Jackson of Warsaw; and 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 4, at 11 a.m., in Witzeler-Shank Funeral Home in Walbridge, Ohio, with Revs. Paul Tyree and Clarence Mullins officiating. Burial will be in Lake Township Cemetery.
