James Elman Armstrong, married after the death of his wife Alma, to Bertha Elizabeth Zorger , daughter of a Henry Zorger and Priscilla Shell.

Olive Kaune, who researched the family history, writes about James Elman Armstrong, who was the baby at the time of the move, from Bond County Illinois to Kansas, it seems on the trip he broke the globe to the lantern which caused them lots of trouble.
