Born April 1, 1920, in Lawassie, Mo., daughter of the late John Wesley Gamblin and Pearl Sarah Bridgeman, she was a homemaker and a member of the Holcomb Community Worship Center in Holcomb, Mo.
On Aug. 18, 1935, in Carter County, Mo., she married Earnest E. Callahan, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Survivors include four sons, Leroy Callahan, of Mannford, Okla., William Callahan, of Campbell, Lee French, of Rolla, Mo., and Bobby Reeves, of Gillespie, Ill.; six daughters, Dortha Nix, of Bernie, Mo., Joann Walker, of Campbell, Clantha Lawson, of Jenks, Okla., Radean Harden and Kay Page, both of Muskogee, Okla., and Joyce Cobb, of Matthews, Mo.; 29 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell
