Olive E. Applegate, 82, of Wilder, died Tuesday, April 15, 1997, at a Caldwell care center of natural causes.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 21, at Golden Gate Baptist Church, Wilder. Pastor Everett Berrey will officiate. A private, family burial in the Wilder Cemetery will precede the church service. Arrangements are under direction of the Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian.
Olive was born June 14, 1914, at Wilder, where she grew up. She graduated from Wilder High School, and on April 1, 1934, married Albert M. Applegate at Wilder. From their union were born two daughters and a son. Olive's adult life was devoted to her husband and the raising of their children. They have made their home on the same farm since 1940.
