She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Margaret Walker, ex-husband Howard Brown, brothers, Allen Walker, Archie Walker and Noman Walker and sisters Isabelle Berryhill and Margaret Smith.
Roberta spent her life in the Tulsa area after being born in Beggs.
She was the former owner and operator of Roberta's Drive-In in Tulsa for several years and the drive-in was best known for its homemade fried pickles and onion rings. Previously she worked at Safeway for eight years and was a Teacher's Aide at Daniel Webster High School.
She was a member of the Red Fork Baptist Church. She loved
her church, drawing, piano playing, writing poetry, horses and spending time with her family and her animals.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to the care of the
Mark Griffith Memorial Funeral Home - Westwood Chapel in Tulsa and will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon, July 14, 2011, at the Red Fork Baptist Church
in Tulsa with Reverend Tom Shaw officiating. Interment will follow in the Bixby Cemetery
at Bixby. Visitation for Roberta will be held Tuesday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m., Wednesday
from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. with the family receiving friends Wednesday evening from 6:30 until
7:30 p.m. all at the Mark Griffith Memorial Funeral Home - Westwood Chapel. Those who wish may make memorials to the St. Francis Hospice in her memory.
