Mrs. Mary Matilda Baker, a native of Wisconsin, passed away at a Bellingham hospital, Saturday, March 18, at the age of 69 years. She came to Blaine two years ago from Seattle. Surviving are the husband, John B. Baker; two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Judah, of Richmond, Calif., and Mrs. Alice Gowen, of Albany, Calif.; one son, George, of Seattle; two sisters, Mrs. Matilda Reeves, of San Francisco, and Mrs. Leila Larson, of Berkeley; three brothers, R. C. and Will Read, of Spokane, and Morris Read, of Berkeley; six grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held from the McKinney Funeral Home in Blaine at 2 o'clock, Tuesday, March 21, with Rev. George Fisher, officiating. Cremation will follow.
