Albert Lee Allmon “Bud” was born on September 29, 1950, in Prescott, Arizona, the son of Jack Calvin and his Alberta Dean Sharp Allmon.
After graduation from Bagdad high School Bud went to College in Thatcher Arizona for one semester while home for Christmas, he and seven other friends all decided to join the Army. His time in the Military service was between. 1971 – 1974 from this time on everyone but family called him "Al". While in the military he was station in Germany. Then was station at Fort Belvoir Virginia where he met and married Sheryl S Davis and they had three children together.
After Discharge from the military he moved to Minnesota, Al then worked for Sperry. Then his family moved to Saint Louis Missouri. Al worked very hard to complete his Education. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with his Bachler degree. As life Changes Al and Sheryl divorced in 1997.
He worked at the same company Watlow since 1989 until his death in 2015. Current position – IT (Information Technology) Business Consulting Manager
Al met and married his soul mate Mary Katherine they made their home in St. Louis on the week days but on the time of work they have a home on the Lake of the Ozark where he spent his time relaxing on the lake. He has enjoyed the time there with his family and loves the time with his grandchildren.
Al was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) just days before his 64th birthday. He battles this terrible disease for almost 240 days, most of which he spent in the hospital. He underwent multiple rounds of chemo, experimental medication and a stem cell transplant. He lost his fight just 8 months after being diagnosed we lost a wonderful person on May 21, 2015.
