YORK Earl M. Kiser, 91, of The Haven at Springwood, who was formerly of Glen Rock and Shrewsbury, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Rest Haven-York. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, with the Rev. Otto Mazzoni officiating and Flag Folding and Taps by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. There will be no viewing and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Mr. Kiser was born in Glen Rock on January 31, 1924, a son of the late Archie J. and Hattie F. (Kiser) Kiser. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, serving as a Seaman First Class. He had been employed for many years with the former Glen Traditions Furniture Company in Glen Rock. He leaves a son, Terry L. Kiser and his wife Connie of Glen Rock; grandchildren, Bridgette Lonas and her husband Michael, and Casey Kiser and his wife Amanda; great-grandchildren, Emma and Benjamin Lonas and Tristan Kiser; and a brother, Harold Kiser. He was predeceased by a daughter, Deb McClain. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice . Condolence may be shared at geiple.com
