She was born in Salt Lake City on April 17, 1921 to the late Maurice and Marie Broadwater.
She met the love of her life while attending high school and married him on June 7, 1941. In 1960, they went on to adopt a son.
After her husband's passing in 1968, Jerry took on a job working for Z.C.M.I. After working many years, Jerry retired having made a lot of lifelong friends.
Jerry's passion in life was the children in her family. From her first and only son to her first granddaughter, to her great-grandchildren... her love for them was unwavering and strong. For those who were close to Jerry, they knew her compassion was extraordinary.
Jerry is survived by her son, Jay Eugster; sister, Coleen Whiteman (Carl - deceased); brother, Jay Broadwater; granddaughter, Aubree Eugster; and her great-grandchildren, Charisma, Serenity, and Cole. She is preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Marie Broadwater; husband, Dell Eugster; two brothers, Ronald Broadwater and Gordon Broadwater; and her sister, Marjorie Garner.
We would like to thank the staff of 1st Choice Home Health Care & Hospice who helped care for Jerry with exceptional love and compassion during her last years.
Family and friends are invited to join us for a celebration of her life from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 in the Oak Hill Ward Building, 895 West 4800 South, Taylorsville.
