David Earl “Ollie” Otto, 50 died Friday afternoon September 11, 2015 at his residence.
He was born May 27, 1965 in Altoona a son of the late Thomas W. and Shirley Ruth (Albright) Otto. He married Lani Marie Fickes on July 1, 2002.
Surviving are his wife Lani; two step-daughters, April Tennis of Altoona and Casey Duffield (James) of Winder, GA; a step-son Charles Wolfe (Joy) of Duncansville; four step-grandchildren, Parker, Spencer, Brianna and Bentley; three sisters, Cathy Cochran (Steve) of Port Ritchey, FL; Shirley Storm (Leroy) of Fallentimber; and Mary Thon (Paul) of Duncansville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Otto was a 1983 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School.
He retired as a warehouseman from Fleming Foods in 2000 after 17 years’ service.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and four wheeling.
Ollie was a firefighter serving with the Allegheny Township Fire Department at Canan Station.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donation in memory of Ollie be made to the Allegheny Township Fire Department, PO Box 87, Duncansville, PA 16635 or to the Home Nursing Agency Hospice, 201 Chestnut Avenue, Altoona, PA 16601.
