Kristine Kettler DuVall, 64, wife of W. Sterling DuVall, died peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with Parkinson's on Sept. 30, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Lucille Kettler born on May 29, 1950 in Celina, OH. She graduated from Lexington Catholic in 1968 and Lexington Community College in 1970. She retired as a paralegal in 2001 and enjoyed traveling, attending concerts, whitewater canoeing and rafting, and home decorating. Kris had a positive outlook on life and a sense of humor despite the struggle with her health.

In addition to her husband of 43 years, she is survived by three sisters, Kay L. (David) Switzer and Keely K. (Jim) Mooney of Lexington, KY, and Kathie K. Clower of Fernandina Beach, FL; two nieces, Emily M. Mooney and Madeline L. Mooney; mother-in-law, Nelle W. DuVall; a longtime friend, Linda Whipple; and her beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Rocky.

Visitation will be on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Milward-Southland. A private service will be held at the Lexington Cemetery
