Robert E. “Bob” Borders, 81, of Orrville, died Monday, December 22, 2014 at Aultman Orrville Hospital.
He was born March 12, 1933 in Ashland, KY to the late Leonard and Mabel (Bayes) Haven and lived in Rittman and Huntington, WV before moving to Orrville.
Bob served in the U.S. Army and worked at the former Packaging Corp. of America and in retail sales for many years. He also owned and operated Bob’s Variety Store in Rittman.
He enjoyed working with his hands, watching TV, wrestling and flea markets.
Surviving are sons; daughters; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters; and lifelong friend, of Huntington, WV.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 60 years, Garnet; brother, Hubert Borders; and sister, Laura Mae.
Services will be held Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman with Rev. John W. Castle officiating. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery.
