He was BORN 9/1/1912 near Belfalls and graduated from Southwest Texas Teachers College in San Marcos with a Master Degree in Education. He taught school in Thorndale and was school superintendent for several years before moving to Troy School District. He taught in Troy until 1971 when he retired to farm. Member of the Methodist Church in Temple.
