OBITUARY
MRS. CYNTHIA J. WREN
Cynthia Jane Wren, 89 died Monday, July 20 at the Capps Nursing Hume in Sedan where she had been a patient since last September,

She was born July 13, 1870, in Missouri and came to Kansas in a covered wagon when a small child with her parents who homesteaded on a farm 10 miles west of Sedan. She lived all her life in Chautauqua County except for a short time in Wichita.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. John Banning of Sedan, Mrs. Floyd Cornett and Mrs. Mildred Hicks, both of Wichita, a son Ira (Boss) Wren of Sedan, three brothers. Will Baker of Sedan. John Baker of Grenola and Willis (Bud) Baker of Pawhuska. Okla, two sisters Lula Harris of Tonkawa, Okla, Mrs. Lizzie Capple of Billings, Mont. 15 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren.

Funeral services are being held Thursday, July 23, at 2:30 p.m. From Baird chapel with the Rev. Howard W. Nuckols, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Round Mound Cemetery under the direction of the Baird Funeral Home.
