FIREMEN TO ATTEND COMRADE’S FUNERAL

Members Of Alliance Truck To Serve As Tierney Pallbearers

ALLIANCE, O., Feb. 12 – Members of the Alliance fire department today pay their final tribute to their fellow ember, Hugh B. Tierney, of 421 South Seneca avenue, whose lifeless body was found in his bed at the Central fire station, Monday morning. At the funeral services held this afternoon, the members of the night shift will attend in a body and the members of the aerial truck will serve as pallbearers.

A large number of city officials will attend the services at the home at 2:30 p. m., which will be in charge of Rev. J. V. Stephens, Jr., pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Following the services at the home, the funeral procession will pass by the Central station, where all of the trucks will be lined up and the No. 1 truck will accompany the procession to the Alliance cemetery where burial will be made.
