Mentions "that all my children from my first wife leave me soon as they comes to their age saying to me Father what you have you have occasion for your own self we will go and see to get our living for our self. Catherine, John, Stephen, Nicles, Elizabeth and Jacob, the youngest, followed their example in the month of October 1746." To each of above named 6 children Ł10 and remainder including 200 acres of land to wife, Maria Elizabeth, and her 10 children [not amed].

Rockland Township: From Lobachsville Rd., .5 mile
west of Lobachsville, left on Boyer Rd., approximately .7 mile beyond the Keirn farm to a new house on the right. Site is on the hillside in the back yard northeast of Keirn barn. This parcel of land appears to be in Pike Township but is actually registered in Rockland. Size: 24' x 24'
History: John Keirn, the emigrant took up land in Oley before 1718 settling near the head waters of the Manatawny Creek. (PCC, p. 69 and MHBC p. 328+, 1647) Trust exists with First Union. Part No. 008-001 John Keirn Family Burial Grounds Gravemarkers.
Observations: Burials are laying northwest to southeast. In the row nearest the gate there are 4 burials with stones and one unmarked on the side of the cedar tree. In the second row the only burial found was at the sandstone with the dates 1783-1786. This probably was not the second row but the child buried between two rows. In the top row there are 5 unmarked graves in line with the first row. 'The stone wall was repaired and the gate painted in 1997 by the summer crew of BCAGP.
Johannes (John) Keim was born about 1675 in Landau Speyer Bavarian Palatinate, Germany. He was the son of Johannes Keim.
Johannes and Bertha (Deturk) Keim immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1707. They moved into the wilderness on Manatawny Creek in Oley township. According to family traditions, Johannes had found this spot on an earlier prospecting trip. here they built a log cabin, cleared some land and planted their first seeds. His tract of land was warranted in 1720.
Johannes and Bertha had six children before Bertha died in about 1726.
Johannes married (2) Maria Elizabeth Boller in January, 1731. She was born about 1713 in Berks County. Johannes and Maria had ten children who were all born in Oley township. Johannes died in 1753 in Oley, he may be buried at the Schneider/Gheer farm cemetery, Limekiln, Oley, Pa.
His will was proven in 1754. In his will he mentions his first six children by name, but only says "his 10 children with his second wife" and does not name them. Maria died the 2nd of June, 1772 in Oley, Pa

Hi, my name is Dale Keim and I am a direct descendent of Johannes. He was my 6th great grandfather. I have some addition info you might consider adding to his FAG memorial. I was thinking it would be nice to separate out the children by wife so today I thought I would give you what I believe to be true concerning his children with Katarina Berta DeTurk. This is what I have for them, note they were all born
on Manatawny Creek, Oley Valley, Berks County PA
