Cynthia Lee Brenton, age 69, of Rosedale, died Sept. 22, 2011, at University Hospital of Indianapolis. She was born Oct. 12, 1941, in Oakland, Calif., to Henry Downing Richards and Virginia Rose Lee. Cynthia married Jeremiah Brenton on July 31, 1960. She worked for John's Dental Laboratory as a supervisor for 15 years.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jeremiah Brenton; children, Jeremiah Brenton Jr. of Indianapolis, Jennifer Brenton and Hazel Brenton, both of Terre Haute, Deborah Brenton of Rockville, Nickie Brenton of Terre Haute, and Scotty Brenton of Rosedale; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Liz Abersold of Sacramento, Calif.; niece, Susan Boom; nephew, Mike Boom; and several cousins.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her son, Tom Brenton; brother, Hank Richards; and her parents.
