Arthur Edgar Litle
Arthur Edgar “Ed” Litle, former Newkirk resident, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at his home in Buffalo, Mo. He was 80.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9 in Hope Chapel of the IOOF Cemetery, Ponca City, with Danny W. Cornish officiating.
Interment in the IOOF Cemetery will be under the direction of Miller-Stahl Funeral Service.
Arthur Edgar Litle was born Nov. 27, 1934, in May, Okla., the son of Paul A. and Beulah M. Pittman Litle.
He served in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960, stationed in California.
On March 15, 1970, he married Helen Hope Moss in Yukon, Okla. They made their home in Guthrie, and both were employed with Western Electric.
After he retired in 1997, the couple moved to Ponca City. They moved to Newkirk in 2001 where they resided until 2010 when they moved to Buffalo, Mo., to be near her son. Mrs. Litle died May 22, 2012.
Ed was a life long member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by two stepsons, Jack O. Anderson, of Buffalo, Mo., and Harry L. Anderson, of Sacramento, Calif; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; his parents; a sister, Evelyn; and a grandson, Tony Anderson.
